Wow!! what was not to like. This beautiful home is tastefully decorated both inside and out, including all the rustic furnishing, which we absolutely loved. This extremely private and comfortable home with picturesque views to die for had everything we needed for our stay on KI. Sylvia and Ian are the friendliest hosts with a warm greeting on arrival along with offering tourist advice and suggestions for exploring the Island, which we found extremely helpful and was very grateful for.

The Rusty Kangaroo is a fabulous place to stay. Location ( once you find it!) is stunning. Kangaroos roam freely around the house and you could spend hours just sitting on the verandah looking out at sea. Ian and Sylvia go above and beyond to make your stay a perfect one. Absolutely wonderful!

We were greeted by the hosts and given lots of great tips about things to do during our stay on the island. It is a beautiful home that has everything you need. The house is just outside the nearest town and has a stunning view over the ocean. Would recommend having a wine or coffee on the deck watching the magnificent sunset and the kangaroos bouning around in the evenings.
